Stash Pop

A stash is a stack, and popping takes the top entry back off it, returning those changes to your working directory.

Stash and pop are the bookends of a short interruption: set the work down, do the urgent thing, pick the work back up.

Exercises

  1. Exercise 1. Your work is on the stash and the tree is clean. Bring the changes back.
  2. Exercise 2. There are two entries on the stack. Pop once — you get the most recent one, and the older one stays put.
